The Rising Nepal extends best wishes and greetings to Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Himani Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah on the auspicious occasion of her 29th birthday.
KATHMANDU, NEPAL Sept. 30: The nation is celebrating the 29th auspicious birthday of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Friday by organising various programmes across the Kingdom.
Her Royal Highness was born on October 1, 1976, in Kathmandu to Rao Raja Vikram Singh of Sikar, Rajasthan, India and late Rao Rani Bipula Singh.
She passed her Intermediate in Commerce from Galaxy Public High School, Kathmandu. She was married to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Paras Bir Bikram Shah Dev on January 25, 2000. A Royal Proclamation made in 2001 gave her the title of Crown Princess of the Kingdom of Nepal.
Their Royal Highnesses the Crown Prince and Crown Princess have three children - His Royal Highness Navayuwaraj Hridayendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev (born: July 30, 2002 at the Narayanhiti Royal Palace), Her Royal Highness Princess Purnika Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah (born: December 11, 2000, Kathmandu) and Her Royal Highness Princess Kritika Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah (born: September 16, 2003, Kathmandu).
Her Royal Highness has been decorated with the Om-Rama-Patta in 2004, Suprasiddha Prabala Gorkha Dakshina Bahu (2001) and Birendra–Aishwarya Seva Padak (2001). She had accompanied His Royal Highness Crown Prince Paras to India, China, United Kingdom and Qatar. Her hobbies include flower decoration and needlework. Her Royal Highness has special interest in housekeeping, welfare of children and religious activities.
Meanwhile RSS adds: On the occasion of the auspicious birthday of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Himani Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah, the HRH Crown Princess Auspicious Birthday Main Civic Committee will offer worship to Lord Pashupatinath Friday morning wishing for HRH the Crown Princess’ good health, long life and prosperity.
Similarly, well-wishers will gather at the Tridevi temple in the afternoon and then proceed with auspicious jar and auspicious items to the west gate of the Royal Palace to offer HRH the Crown Princess hearty greetings and best wishes.
Likewise, lamps will be lit at the Narayansthan temple at Narayanhity wishing for the long life and prosperity of HRH the Crown Princess.
Different social institutions and organisations are conducting various programmes on the occasion of HRH the Crown Princess’ birthday.
